Sadie Amara Calvano, an American actress most well-known for her role as Violet Plunkett on the CBS sitcom "Mom" she has been gaining some fame. Calvano grew up in California, and initially was fascinated by at competitive gymnastics. In the end, however, Calvano determined to pursue a career in acting. The first time she appeared on screen was on the screen in 2010 with an Episode of CBS's 'NCIS. One year later her first major-screen debut came in the biographical drama movie J Edgar. Through the years, she established herself as one of the most prestigious young actors working today. She was nominated in 2011 for a Young Artist Award in the category of Best Performance for Young Actresses aged 11-15 for her work on NCIS. In 2013, she was nominated once again for an award called a Young Artist Award. This was for her performance on Disney XD's 'Kickin The 'It'. Calvano had a role in the cast of Mom during its initial three years and appeared numerous times during the fourth. In 2015, her performance in 'Mom" brought her an award called the Gracie Allen Award as Outstanding Female Actor - Rising Star.
